Our Skate School course runs in line with the nationally accredited Aussie Skate program to get you on your pathway to becoming a competitive figure skater. Even if you have some experience with Ice Skating we prefer new members to be assessed through our Skate School program, this is also a great way to meet some of our In-House Figure Skating Coaches. And if you’ve completed a Free Skate level in Skate School and you’re ready to progress your learning come to a Figure Skating Practice Session.

NEW TO SKATING?
If you’re interested in becoming a Figure Skater but haven’t mastered all the elements of skating, Skate School will get you on your way to Figure Skating one day. Whether you’re a complete beginner or you have some experience, there’s a level for everyone in Skate School. This is also a great way to work with some of our In-House Figure Skating Coaches.
WANT TO TAKE PRIVATE LESSONS?
Perhaps you’re stuck on a skill, want to accelerate your learning, or like the accountability of a professional to help you, Figure Skating Practice Sessions are where you can engage Private Figure Skating Coaches for lessons for all ages ranging from 15-60 minutes.
When you take private lessons you pay for your own access to the session, and you pay your coach directly for the lesson.
WANT TO COACH AT THE ICE ARENA?
The Ice ArenA offers a variety of coaching options for Figure Skating coaches, from Visitor Coaching Permits for traveling coaches, Temporary Coaching Permits for those staying a little longer, to our limited In-House Coaching Permits.
There is an application process and not all applications are guaranteed a permit. Please read the information provided and send an enquiry with details of your application.
NEW TO FIGURE SKATING?
Whether you’ve completed your Aussie Skate Free Skate 4 level and are working through ISA (Ice Skating Australia) testing or you want some extra practice away from the crowds of Public Skate to work on your technique and skills, Figure Skating Practice Sessions are dedicated sessions to assist you with your learning.
