The rink is cold, so layer up. Don't forget a warm hat, scarf and proper insulated gloves. Go for breathable stuff that keeps sweat at bay. Peel off or add layers as you warm up or cool down to stay comfy.
The Learn to Figure Skate program follows the nationally accredited Aussie Skate pathway, helping skaters progress toward competitive figure skating. New participants are encouraged to start with Skate School, regardless of prior experience, providing an opportunity to meet the figure skating coaches. Skaters who have completed a Free Skate level can continue developing their skills by joining Figure Skating Practice Sessions.
Figure Skating Practice Sessions are exclusive times put aside for figure skaters to take private lessons with their coaches and practice their elements and routines for testing and competitions. While skaters will pay for access to the session, they pay their coaches directly for lessons.
Levels: Figure Skating Practice Sessions are open to:
Coaching: By professionally accredited coaches.
Practice: 20+ hours of exclusive ice time only for Figure Skating each week.

We are committed to your safety while you enjoy the experience. To help us keep you safe, please bring your own helmet from home.
The perfect fit changes everything. We have specialist staff ready to help you choose the ideal skates for you. We have sizes available for children and adults. All figure skaters have to have their own fitted skates. Its can be purchased ar specialty ice skating store.
Be sure to arrive 30mins before the class starts, and bring your booking confirmation. Check in at reception.
All figure skating coaches at The Ice ArenA are accredited and registered with the Australian Professional Skaters’ Association (APSA). They maintain current Working With Children Checks, Senior First Aid certification, and professional insurance. Some coaches also have specialized accreditation in harness training for safe jump development. Skaters are encouraged to check the APSA website for the latest qualifications of any coach they wish to work with.

Thebarton tram stop, just outside of Adelaide's CBD.
We also have underground public parking operated by Wilson Car Park.
