Will there be people on the ice to assist the children?
There will be ‘Helping Hand’ staff on the ice and in the snow play area to assist and supervise all the children.
Will the coffee shop be open during the party?
During the birthday parties, the coffee shop facilities will be available.
However, only a limited menu will be available during the time we are preparing the birthday party food.
If other children who are not part of the invited guests want to join in with the activities can they purchase a wristband?
If an extra child turns up on the day that is not accounted for, can we pay the extra amount to increase the party number?
The party number may be increased upon arrival, if there is space available, by one or two children but any increases are also subject to catering approval and will be charged at $22.90 per child.
If not all the children turn up on the day, will you refund any unused wristbands?
No, we do not offer refunds on any unused wristbands so be sure of the confirmed number prior to making the party payment.
Are parents allowed to join in with the activities?
Parents or adults (over 18 years) may purchase a supervisor wrist band from the front office for $10.00 if purchased prior to 12.30 pm. Parents or adults wishing to purchase a wristband after 12.30 pm will be charged at the normal public session rates.
What happens after the party guests have finished the jugs of soft drink?
Extra jugs of soft drink can be purchased at the reduced cost of $6.00 per jug. Jugs of water can be requested at no extra cost.
What about a child who has a food allergy or special dietary requirements?
Please notify us at the time you make payment for your party if you have a special dietary requirement and we will endeavour to accommodate this as much as possible.
Can we stay on after the party and skate in the public session?
Yes, the snowplay finishes at 12.30 pm, however your guests are welcome to stay on and skate in the public session if they wish.
Can we bring our own birthday cake?
Yes, you may. We ask that if you bring your own cake you also bring along your own paper plates, forks, etc.
